Is it really possible to burn 2,000 calories in a day!?

My fitbit is telling me that I am burning anywhere from 1,500-2,500 calories in a day. I am running everyday, but not enough to burn that much. Is this really possible?

Perhaps you are not considering your BMR calories - those you burn by just being alive. More details here:

Depending on your current weight you will burn anywhere from 1,200 to 2,000+ calories just by 'living'.
