I wear my watch for almost all of my day so that it tracks my calories burned. I also log my food to keep track of my calorie intake. Is there a way to set a goal for a calorie deficit and see how many calories I would have "left" to consume for the day based on these numbers? I found old posts about a "food plan" that would essentially do all of this, but cannot find that anywhere on the app.. I've just been doing the math on my own, but it would be great to have the number readily available on my app....

I'm not the best source since I don't use this feature, but since nobody else has replied yet, I think what you want is to set a weight goal. If you tap Weight on the Today screen of phone app, it suggests you set a weight goal. Then I think it asks some more questions about how severe a calorie deficit you want, or some such, and then I think it does what you are looking for.

Fitbit doesn’t have a built-in calorie deficit goal feature anymore since they removed the old “food plan.” I usually just track calories burned and eaten, then do the math myself. Some people use other apps that sync with Fitbit for that.
