I don't weigh any food. Meat should only be pack of cards size. More veg. Not too much fruit. Cut out sugar. Bought a NutriBullet and have green juice. Mostly kale, cucumber, pineapple, pear. So many improvements since getting that. Eat when hungry. No snacking except I do have small Packertscof sultanas and cranberries for that. I also don't weigh myself. It's how my clothes fit.
If that's working for you , then great. Keep doing it.
If someone is having trouble losing weight, especially after such a long time trying, then they probably need to start quantifying exactly what they're doing so we can figure out where it's falling off the rails.

I am 58 and training for a traithalon. I ride 200 miles per week, weight train, swim and run. I have only a couple of pounds to loose- 5% body fat. I have 3,6 and 9 month goals for gaining strength adn endurance but would love to join a group for women my age that are serious about getting fit!

Hi Outdoorgir! I am 58 as well and looking to join a group of like minded women. I am just getting back into shape after knee surgery and have about 15lbs to loose. I have done biathalons, triathalons, marathons and Spartan races. I do crosssfit and bootcamp classes weekly, but am lacking on motivation since my surgery. It would be great to join a serious get fit group and have an accountibility partner!
