anything pork or chicken as your protein is going to be low in calories for the amount you can eat. Eat veggies on the side. I bought a rebounder (trampoline) and get a lot of steps just using that, or sometimes just pace around the house. I also still go for walks around the block, just keep away from others.

Due to isolation most people are finding it hard to get outside and burn calories.

Some people like myself are going from a minimum of 10,000 steps to just 1,000.

What easy low cal high in protein meals can I make that will continue to help with my weight loss, Ive started using some hiit videos on youtube but due to inflammation Im having to do them quite inconsistently.

Also any tips for finding an accountability partner??

Thanks! x

I've found that using meal prep to make several days' of meals is fantastic to keep me on track. I've also switched from having my big meal in the evening to having a big, nutritious lunch and a lighter dinner helps as well. I love a crunchy salad. I'll make two at a time (from one smaller plastic box of mixed spring greens). I include a hard boiled egg for lean protein (grilled chicken breast is another good option) and measure 2 T of dressing - vinaigrette types spread across more greens. Check out skinnytaste dot com for meal prep ideas and LOTS of colorful, satsifying lower calorie meal ideas. Already tossedAlready tossed

That's a good idea thankyou. I meal prep our dinner and usually my work
lunches. However I burn alot more at work so they're more calorie dense
then I would like for now.

I'll look into some more satisfying salads thankyou x

I plan out a weekly menu. I spend a lot of time at these sites

Skinny Taste

Drizzle Me Skinny

LemonBowl

There is only 2 of us and I make the 6 servings. Then I freeze them in 2 servings each for quick  meals.

@Nannyjenni hey there.. I am curious why you can't be outside and keep your step goal where you like it? we are in a lock down as well, but I get outside everyday and do my miles. On rainy or super windy days, I am fortunate to have treadmill, but if not, jumping rope, jumping jacks, burpees - all good cardio substitutes for walking or running. As far as meals, I eat exactly the same way I do during normal times, except less takeout and obviously no restaurant meals.

I get out enough as i live with severly immune compromised people.

we have no space for a treadmill and the exercise equipment i have ordered has not turnt up yet, we are having alot of troubke with our wifi also, so my usually trining videos on youtube are unaccessible.

i usally walk to and from work and during however because of the lock own this has been thrown off, ive be given a tonne more office hours and the hours are a lot longer. spending 12plus hours a work 6 days a week makes it harder to find the time to make up my steps

I agree. At first I was isolating indoors but whether it was putting on music and dancing or even just walking around the house it was easy to get 5-6K steps in without even putting in a huge effort.  But as long as you can distance there is no reason not to be outdoors if the weather is cooperating. My steps keep going up, even in the lockdown, because I get out and walk and take my mask with me in caee it gets a bit congested

Thats tough to get your usual exercise in -- you may have to get creative and possibly compromise on your goals while you are in lockdown.  Not ideal, but these are strange times. Hoping you can soon get back to your usual routine

I couldn't be outside because I was Isolating. I have tested positive to Covid-10 twice. Because of that your not allowed outside of your property. I have no outside space to access privately (no garden or driveway) and I live in a 1bed flat
