thanks @Mermaid3011. 17 pounds maybe slightly aggressive. I started to slow down some lately. I just need to ramp things up. I am sure that you will crush your goal

Oh well I dont know about that... but last week has been really good! My health has improved (it kept me from a healthy lifestyle in July and August) and I am back to eating REAL FOOD and walking and doing my workout challenge. Soo.... 12 lbs should be possible in 2 months. Should be.
What is your plan to ramp things up? Have you had some "aha" moments lately and decided to focus on more water intake or less meals out or daily workouts? Tell us!! 🙂

What a great idea. I wish everyone the best of luck in making their goals.
Starting weight 188 (March 2015)
Current weight 181 (September 2015)
Goal weight 150 (June 2016)
Granted I'm 5'9" so I carry my weight fairly decently.
I woke up one day in March 2015 and realized that since I started working nights in Feb 2014 I had put on close to 20 pounds.. Yikes.. and needed to make a change in my life style. I have started going to the gym regularly, with a cardio and weight lifting routine. I also have started getting back into taekwondo again, I slacked a bit after switching to night shift. Since I started my journey in March I have gone from a size 9/10 to a 7/8 I know that's not a huge difference but it's big for me especially since I've only lost 7 pounds. Which I hope means that I am gaining muscle while losing fat.
I wish everyone the best of luck in their weight loss journey and if anyone would like to add me as a friend they are more than welcome to.
Happy fitbiting and pilsung.

I'm in. Will post goals and stats next week. The Labor Day challenge group has been so supportive, encouraging, and inspiring.
So many folks making steady progress, with bumpy roads (of course). And still going.
Thanks for setting this up. WE CAN DO THIS, and it is worth every step.

Labor Day is on Monday Sept 7th so that is when we move here. We still have more days to go on the Labor Day Challenge. It is an American holiday on the first Monday of Sept. Thanks for setting it up Brigit.
Congrats on your progress and good attitude as well. I like your new more grown up photo too.

LOL my new more grown up foto? Actually the old foto was only from last year. LOL Have I aged this much?!? 🙂
I actually feel 10 years ago - probably because I am now officially below the weight I was in university. I remember that number exactly, because my ex boyfriend then made fun of me, comparing my weight (in kilograms) to the frequency of a very popular radio station in Hamburg, Germany.
Ugh....
Anyway - happy to help out! You are still the boss around here of course!! But since you are so close to your goal I figured you may appreciate the help of a few others who still have their way to go.
Cheers
Birgit
