We are starting on Labour Day - September 4 and will be ending this challenge on Halloween October 31.

I just got my fitbit today. I've been having alot of health problems along with being diagnosed with hypothyroid. I want the old me back again. Three years ago, I was 166 pounds and now I'm up to 204.6.
My goal for the this challenge is be down 15 pounds.
SW: 204.6
GW: 189.6

This is my first challenge, but from what I understand you post your current weight (CW) & your Halloween goal weight (GW) & any other info you want, then check back in with the group to update as often as you like & for suppourt & encouragement!

Just remember that weight loss is more about the diet than it is about the exercize 🙂 Sure, you can lose weight as long as you are burning more calories than you are eating, but it is a lot easier to refuse to eat 200 calories than to burn them.

Is it to late to join this personal challenge? I don't know what the abbreviations below are... However, I can post my stats. I'm living with PCOS so weight loss is a huge challenge so the push would be appricated 🙂
5'6- 162.4 lbs Goal by Halloween (bday party) 145-150 lbs. New Years is 135 lbs and Summer is Ultimate goal of 120.
Any tips or suggestions on whats worked for others?

Thursday is my weigh in day. I was happy that I posted a loss. I ate a ton of food over the holiday weekend. I will have to work a little harder this week to keep pace to my goal.

I am going to tell my story, but we all know that we have to pick a program that works for us.
Jan 12th I had rotator cuff surgery and on Jan 17th I decided to join ww because I was going to be home for over 6 weeks and I didn't want to gain any more weight. 4 days later I bought a fitbit zip and I love it!!!
I started by dancing around my house with my granddaughter. In Feb I started walking at the gym, 20 min a mile and I started with 2 miles. I was in a sling for over 8 weeks, so all I could do is walk. I now walk 3 miles and I am under an hour. I try to run a little, but I don't do much running. In May I added zumba evey once in a while. I have lost 47 lbs and I have 3 more to go!!! My original goal was 40, and then I decided to go 10 more. I am not as strict with my diet now, so the last few are coming off very slow. I am doing ww online only, and I really like it. When I am thru with ww in Oct, I am going to keep track of my food on fitbit. I have tried it a couple of times and it is fine. I have heard that my fitness pal is really good. I never dreamed that I would like ww or even walking. I am still shocked and happy with my success. Two more things: I am a 9 year breast cancer survivor and I am 60 years old. I wish I had done this years ago. Sorry for the long post.

Ultimate goal: 140 by April 2016
Last week was my bloated week, but I'll take the drop in 3 pound!! tried a spin class last night for the first time and I really liked it! I didn't expect to, but it was fun and the instructor had great music playing, which made the time fly by.

I'm going to try to cut down on alcohol and chocolate, walk at least 10,000 steps a day and go to the gym three times a week. Wish me luck!
