Lacking motivation, need a kick in the butt

I am a 23 year old mom to an amazing little man, and expecting my second in April. I will have to lose about 80 lbs after my pregnancy is over, but for now I need to start getting active and being just overall healthier. I have almost no motivation and would love a little kick from anyone willing to help 🙂 Thanks 🙂

Congratulations on your upcoming birth!  I gained a lot of weight with my first child because my mother told me horror stories about morning sickness....and I never got it.  It can be tiring carry another human inside you...just keep in mind the healthier you are, the easier the birth and the healthier your child will be.

I am in the process of trying to lose weight so I can get pregnant. We are sort of at opposite ends but I will be happy to be friends with you. Maybe we can challenge each other... I also use MFP so if you are on there my user name is RebeccaMaunder

Here is your kick in the pants:  Your children will need you.  And they will need you healthy, energetic, and fit as you can be.  Just start where you are.  Getting fit again will take time, but you can do this, and it will SO worth it--for you and your children!  Make this year your fittest ever!  Happy New Year to you and your family.  Smiley Happy

Along those lines, to help with motivation.

 

Put a picture of the kids, both of them, up on the fridge, on the cupboard, in the car visor, wherever you may need it for a good motivation to food choices.

 

Then put one above the TV and computer, for good choices regarding time and exercise.
