Looking for Weight Loss Buddies/Support!

ANSWERED

I'm new to Fitbit and very seriously trying to lose some weight, I have at least 100 pounds to lose.

My boyfriend has been very supportive to me and is dieting/exercising as well but I definitely need an outside weight loss buddy.

Anybody!

Let's do this together, guys! 😄

I also would love to have some friends who are trying to lose weight. After a few months of really focusing I've gotten down to 200 but winter is here where I live and that makes it harder. I'm almost always at the bottom of the "steps in 7 days" group of friends and there is only so much I can do about that (long story). I'd like support when it comes to resisting foods I'm craving, etc.

Anyone looking for the same, feel free to add me as a friend!

A craving can be ignored for a while, until it can become so large giving in eventually to have anyway. When not hungry, allow to have what you craved for when being hungry in moderation to keep it sustainable, it's about changing food habits, restricting foods leads eventually to binge eating, instead find a balance between having nutritient rich foods and the foods you love, even if it's some cake once in a while, a piece of chocolate,..

Hi!  I too will benefit from support and challenge.  Let's make a pact to be in touch on a daily basis and find a way to help each other.  I am looking forward to being in touch with someone who gets the desire to lose weight and become more active!   Thanks for reaching out!

I'd love to support and be supported. My trainer keeps reminding me this is a marathon not a race but the encouragement always helps get you through that last rep of squats or that last 5 minutes on the elliptical. We can do this!! Our bodies are only as strong as our minds!!

Hello everyone,

I am new to Fitbit and I need to loose 22 pounds in order to maintain a recommended BMI score.

However, the problem for me is diet, I exercise everyday, but I cannot seem to eat healthly on a consistant basis, I always seem to snack on foods and drinks that are not good for me.

Would be good to gather some help from the community.

Hi mate, sorry for late reply.....

I am not an expert (AT ALL lol) although what works for me is that I have halved my food intake.  It was/ is very hard at the start although stick it out and it will work.  My wife eats more than me at dinner time now, it is funny cause she is small in stature and it is working, I started this program 5th Dec at 88kg (194lbs) and just got on the scales this morning 18th Dec and down to 84kgs (185lbs).  Yes I am excersing 5 days and pretty intense, just trying to get back into shape of when I once was.  Have a go mate, keep to it and it will pay off!

Hi everyone!!  I had a baby about 5 months ago and finally feeling normal enough and in a good routine to start working out again.  I was overweight before we had baby #3 so overall I really need to lose about 100lbs.  I started back at the gym this week, my city finally has a Plant Fitness (LOVE IT)!!  I am eating better and drinking about a gallon of water a day.  I am feeling better already!  I am also taking some suppliments from GNC and that helping as well!  Any support I can get is so appreciated!  I am a super supportive person as well.  Hope to hear from you all!
