Looking for buddies wanting to lose 100+ lbs

Hello Fitbitters! I'm 46/F looking for others wanting to lose 100 or more pounds. I've JUST figured out the calories-in/calories-out feature on Fitbit, and I have it set to help me lose 2lbs per week. My heaviest weight is 190, but I was 170 when I started with Fitbit.

I have a neurological condition that sometimes makes it hard for me to walk much, but it's in remission as of a week ago, and I am having a blast building my endurance back up. My next challenge will be 25k in one day, and it would be fun to have a step buddy to do the challenge with.

Anyone care to join me?

Hi,

I too need to lose 100 lbs. and could use some support. I just upgraded my fitbit to the Charge HR and am hoping that seeing how my heart rate repsonds to physical activity will be a plus.

I need to lose 100 lbs too!  I just got the Charge HR and I am still learning how to use all the features.  I would love to be a buddy and have some support along the way.  My problem is that I am addicted to Coca Cola!  I am having a hard time giving it up but  I am slowing working on decreasing my intake.  I just joined a gym and am doing water exercising for now.  Let me know if you want to buddy up!

Kipjoy I do too have a coca cola addiction it's been so hard to give it up... But I'm trying because I don't think I can do it cold turkey. I need to loose about 98 pounds and I have found it so hard to do so so if any of you want to add me feel free

HI.  I need to lose 100+lbs too.  I just started tracking food with myfitnesspal and have synced it to fitbit, but i still don't understand it.  It is showing I am under, but over 100 calories.  Is there somewhere that explains the food portion of the website?

I would really like some Fitbit friends! I have none :|.
I got my Fitbit for Christmas but I'm only just now starting to figure it out.
I've lost quite a bit of weight already, before I got this device.
My highest weight was 330. I got down to 230 when my husband asked me for a divorce. I gained back 30 pounds from depression and I am SO ready to continue my journey.
Would anyone like to add me as a friend? I promise to be supportive, encouraging and understanding!
I'm almost 46, female in Northern California

I too would like to lose 100 lbs. I started at 365 losing 95 but was diagnosed with breast cancer and spent nearly 2 years becoming a survivor. During this time I gained 50 back but after a routine visit to my family doctor, my husband and I decided to join our local ymca. In 8 months I am back down to my pre cancer weight. Having someone to communicate with who understands the highs and lows of being over weight would be welcomed.

First congratulation on your weightloss and taking the first steps to get
healthier. I'm always here if you ever want to talk about anything I know
that everyday is a new battle everyday is a new step and I totally
understand that we all have good days and bad days but for those bad days
you don't have to do them alone 🙂

Is there any way to do a private group or just a chat with friends?

I'm 46/M and want to loose more than 100 lbs. I've had a Fitbit Zip for about a year and just got the Charge HR. I'm hoping it'll help me track bicycling which is easier for me to do than walk -- back pain.

I'm 30/Friday and want to lose 129. I am brand new to Fitbit and have a Fitbit Alta. This is the first time in my life I want to be serious about my eating and getting healthier. I would love to be part of a group that can help me get there.
