Looking for friendly competition to help me reach my goals

My name is Jennifer. I'm 36, married with 2 teen daughters and a five-year-old self-proclaimed princessI have been using fitbit for about a month now. I love that it motivates me to move more. I was in great shape three years ago. I'm not making excuses but I did have several setbacks that threw my healthy eating and regular exercise out of whack (surgeries, an entire summer on heavy steroids for severe poison ivy, broken foot and toes). I also suffer from bipolar disorder and the depressive periods are crippling. Exercise and clean eating really help me get out of bed in the morning. I'm looking for someone who can raise my spirits when I'm feeling defeated (ie, I've been working my butt off all month and my diet has been much better. I stepped on the scale yesterday and had lost 0.3 pounds. Talk about disappointing!) I love a little friendly competition and I promise I'll be your cheerleader. I really want to make a new friend who understands the struggles and will celebrate with me when I reach a goal.

Hey Jenn!  My name is Angie.  I am 41 with two teenagers as well.  I have been playing the weight roller coaster game for many years going up and down 10-20 lbs. here and there.  I have finally decided that this year is going to be the year I change my lifestyle for good.  I want to be the disciplined healthy eater who splurges only now and then but maintains an overall healthy diet, workout regimen and sets a good example for my children.  I will be happy to be your cheerleader, share goals and find news ways to keep being healthy exciting.  I got my Fitbit for Christmas and am trying to figure out how to make it work for me and utilize every benefit it offers.  I hit my 10,000 step goal my first day but know that will be a challenge on a daily basis.  I believe it will definitely keep me motivated though.
