Title says it all!! Looking for women to start a group with where we can encourage each other. Fun women who want to check in/chat throughout the day  and keep the momentum going.

Hi ladies, I fall into this group!  I have lost over 90 pounds but still have about 20 to go.  I would love the support and encouragement too!

I would love to join if it is okay, I will be 39 this month and would love to lose about 20 to 30 pounds. I just got my fitbit for Christmas, I have the flex and I love it. I need good people to keep me motivated!

I'm always up for inspiration & encouragement. I'm a fitness instructor & an RN/Wellness coach...i'm also HUMAN! I love food, but I hate gaining weight...feel like I've sabotaged all my hard work in my fitness classes with all the food over the holidays. Now, I need to lose 21.6 lbs...lol no, I didn't gain that much solely over the holidays, my weight was 123.8 prior to the beginning of the fall. But, my actual weight goal is 112. I am only 5'3" tall with a small frame, so it is not totally a squash...I can do it..& so can YOU!! I try to do other workouts at home in between my classes & now, am back on my Nutrition plan. What plans, if any do you all follow? Mine is Ideal Protein. I will say the since I got Fitbit for Christmas, I have felt more motivated than ever to get back on track!!!

Well, I'm 40 and need to lose 20 - 30 lbs.  Got my Fitbit Flex, yesterday.  I used to be very fit a few years ago, but baby + a few other life changes and, well, here I am!

 

I may not be able to check in daily, but I'll do my best.  I also follow Weight Watchers and am a Lifetime member for 10 years.  This is the first year I really "let myself go", so to speak.  Looking forward to getting more healthy and fit, again!

Nice to meet you ladies, I hope you'll come over to the group!! I just searched in the Activity Groups section and it worked, and our membership has grown since I was on before so it must be working.  I added the keyword   galpals   to try to make it easier, but it wouldn't work, I guess because it's not in the title.  Try searching 40ish  and see if that works. Be sure you are in the Activity Groups section.

I'm not in my 40's but still intrested in joining this group i have about 10-15 pounds to lose.

I just want to encourage you to log your food and stick with your fitbit. I have had mine over a year now, well technically this is my third, I lost one and drowned another, but I lost more fat than I had even planned on. I now weigh what I did in my 20s. Nothing else worked for me. I have years of food and exercise logs but I could never actually see just how low my calorie burn was because I am 50 and hypothyroid. but the fitbit figured it out and adjusted my calories downward until I was actually losing. If you want to see exactly what I eat every day, friend me.
