Marlinda, you almost just wrote my story. Everything you said is pretty much the same with me. I lost my weight on The 17 Day Diet with my sister (very similar to Atkins,) and MyFitnessPal. I went back to school, and it all piled back on and then some. If I am realistic on what my ideal weight would be at 46 years old, I have at least 25-30 lbs or more to lose. It has been impossible to lose even 2 lbs at this age! I also have three things that consistently throw me off track: I work 12 hr nightshifts, I crave sweets like nobodys business, and I enjoy red wine. I am going to set small goals and get to work again. Maybe we can motivate each other!

I am 42, with 17 more to lose.  So far I've lost 133 and have been struggling with those last 17!  I am new to Fitbit.. just got one as an early birthday gift.  🙂

Welcome ladies! I too have about 25 lbs to lose. My weight has never been stable and my dieting has hit extremes (more on that later). Looking forward to a motivating group. Add me as your friend and jeer/cheer as necessary. Happy New Year!

I very new to this and I am having a difficult time learning what the lights mean and how to get it into different modes.  I am 66 years old and a retired elementary teacher.  I have 3 grown sons, 5 beautiful grandchildren, and a wonderful husband of 51 years.  I would also like to join the ladies group.

I'm in my 40's and would like to lose 25 lbs. & prevent putting on weight as I age. Would love the extra encouragement from other women like me. I am new to fitbit & have enjoyed the tracking of my steps. The last 2 days have been frustrating for me because my fitbit zip has started to randomly lose steps. Hopefully this isn't an issue going forward. I reset the battery, so we shall see. Best wishes to everyone! We can do this!!!!!Smiley Happy

Hello,
I'm a retired teacher. I tend to check in in the evenings as well. I have lost 26 pounds using fitness pal, but still have 40+ pounds to go. Would love to be your friend.

Hi I am 53 years old and I need to loose 30 pounds.  It has really gotten hard after I reached 50.  Hate to tell you, something to look forward to. But it can be done.  I am new to fitbit and I really enjoy this.  I was so good last week and lost 6 pounds and I was bad over weekend and gained  4 pounds back.  Today is a new start but I really am looking for people who understand how frustated I am.  I would love to join your group

I'm in my 40s and having trouble as well. I'd like to lose at least 15#. April 15th was my goal day for that, but missed that one.
