Hi Lisafit2016, I have to lose 50 lbs too. I have not been overweight my whole life, but have gained it over the past 10 years. Time to get rid of it. I just received my FitBit for Christmas and I love it. It keeps me accountable. I went to the gym 4 times this week and reached 10,000 steps twice this week. A lot of work!!! It is an uphill struggle for me, but this time I'm determined. Would love to give and get support.

Have fun reaching your goals. It's possible to weight the same, since loosing weight from body fat though the weight loss been compensated by increase in muscle mass but being leaner, more toned..
It's possible to drop a few pounds quickly from food remnants still inside the body or more if being constipated. There's also water upkeep if eaten to much salt.. and other natural fluctuations like fluids drinking, weight from foods just eaten.
Go by the looks in the mirror to, see if your clothes become larger, buying once in a while new clothes to fit the new you. It's possible to detect possible weight gain faster and maintain new weight range easier when new clothes start to fit tighter.. knowing to eat less cookies and more natural foods.. or fasting a little bit.. to keep wearing your new clothes and when wanting to get leaner..
It's possible to set a healthy weight and body fat range goal, it's wonderful to have goals. When starting seeing your ribs.. needing eating back a little more, to look awesome while still having a flatter tummy.. your bodies happiest weight range can be a bit higher.. but looking toned, having more strength, more fit..
Aside weighing it's possible to measure your waist.. when seeing weight stays about the same but waist size decreases.. it's nice to know if there's process.
Have Fun

Hi Lisa, I received christmas money and used it to buy my fit bit surge on Dec 29, 2015. I love it!! I have lost my first 10 lbs. I decided when I started this that I would set my weight goal for 10 pounds at a time...it keeps you motivated by reaching the goal. You can reset your goal weight. I am really excited..I have always had trouble with my weight even as a teenager also. I have weighed the same for the past 15-20 years. Thought I would never be motivated to lose it. However, I am really enjoying getting out there and walking it off. Good luck and I know you can do it if I can! I have 100 pounds to lose (well, 90 now!) So we are both on our way. I'm doing it 10 at a time. Grapes are my go-to treat for a snack, make sure to drink and log all your water. That was the hardest thing for me to do..never really liked drinking plain water.
