I lost 20lbs in less than 2 weeks last year so it is possible to accomplish this task. However, I did gain some of the weight back. I had to attain a certain weight for a doctor's appointment with a diabetes clinician.

Once I went to the doctor about my weight, among other things, she had blood drawn and tested everything. Turns out I am Type II diabetic, specifically my body produces too much insulin and my sugar intake was too high, thus the weight gain and other issues. Long story short, she put me on metformin and I started seriously dieting.
I was 298 lb (I am 33, male, 68") on 18 March. Today I am at 271. I attribute this to the diagnosis and immediate lifestyle changes. Yes, it is very possible to lose 20 lbs in less than two weeks, but as you noted, you have gained some back. I would say check with your doctor for any medical reason you are not losing and then drink lots of water and diet. Exercise is great as well, but in actuality not necessary for weight management (I still recommend it for emotional balance and a challenge). Hope this helps!

Thanks for the reply, I thought people were just viewing what I had posted but had no response. The reason why I lost 20lbs in less than 2 weeks is because I ran everyday in that time frame.
As you can see, I almost did a 1-hour run daily at a average distance of 6.5km-7.0km burning around 650-800 calories.

During September of 2018, I was 39 years old at a height of 70" (5'10 or 178cm). I was also quite active during that year. My problem is the amount, what, and when I eat.
Now that I am 40 and a few months during August 2019, I find losing weight a bit more difficult as I age.

Try intermittent fasting. Eat in a 12 hour window. Cut out breads and sugars best you can

Actually it should be an 8 hour window for eating. I eat from 0600 to 1400. And have a 16 hour not eating window.

How you spread your calories across the day is mostly a matter of personal preferences. Number of meals, length of "eating window", all this plays a much smaller role than total calories.
