Losing weight, but measurements aren't changing

I haven't seen this posted anywhere else, but I'm sure I'm not the only one who's experiencing this.

I have lost 30lbs so far. I have 10lbs left to my goal. I have dropped from a size 12 to a size 4 pants on average. Yet my measurements haven't changed. Clearly I've lost weight, inches, and fat. I'm measuring correctly. Everyone, including my doctor, is amazed at my progress. So I'm not sure what's going on with my measurements. Clothes are made better, but that still doesn't explain why on paper I'm still a size 12 yet a size 12 falls off me.

Is there anyone else out there experiencing this?

What specific body measurements are you talking about? Waist, hips, chest, thigh ...? It’s hard to believe you could have lost 30 pounds and still have the same waist circumference (one of the most important measurement for health), for instance.

I'm measuring everything, top to bottom, from neck to calf. That's what's so confusing. I measure when my clothes start to feel bigger or something looks different. I don't have a set schedule.

I must say I don’t understand. On the one hand, you said "I've lost weight, inches, and fat". On the other hand, you wrote "measurements aren't changing". If you lost inches, surely at least some of your measurements must in fact have changed?

The only thing is measure is waist circumference. What I’ve seen (pretty reliably) is a change of one centimeter for each kilogram lost/gained.

Alot of measurements will not change . Neck to calf you say

Why not focus on Chest, waist, hips? These will change somewhat, The rest will not
