Low carb

I'm following a low carb lifestyle to get to my first goal weight.  I have a small goal weight loss, and will continue to add more as I hit my goals! So far so good, I have lost 14 pounds in 3-4 weeks.  I have not incorporated any rigorous exercising due to my weight now.  I would like to get down 30 total then start at Planet Fitness and hit the treadmills/bikes/elipticals.

I just am looking for anyone out there that might be doing the same!

good for you!  i started low carb, high fat in june 2013.  as of now, i'm 100 lbs down.  good luck with your journey!

I just started low carb 11 days ago and have lost 6 pounds!! I'm also doing it to prevent diabetes, just was diagnosed "pre-diabetic". First I read a lot about low carb diets. One thing I learned is that when you decrease carbs you must increase fat intake. That has really been an eye-opener, and has made this change possible for me! Good luck to you!
