Hi All!
I am new to the forum and I am looking forward to making new friends on this site. I got my Fitbit, 2 weeks ago and just discovered the forum. I am looking for some motivation and to give back the motivation 100%. Please add me as a friend. I am still navigating through the site and trying to figure it all out.
I'm at work today and the rain is pouring down here in Boston. So I am looking for some serious motivation to get my workout done tonight when I get home from work!!!

I'm also very new to this. I actually just got my Fitbit on Monday, but so far I'm loving it. I just figured out about the forums as well. I'll add you as a friend I need motivation as well, and have no problem giving motivation.

Hey there!! I too got a new fitbit flex the other day and today was my first full day with it.....awesomeness!! I used to have a fitbit zip and lost it, so I am not exactly new to the whole fitbit thing, but I am new to the forums. YAY!! 🙂
You say you are from Boston? Whereabouts? I used to live there in Somerville and Medford! Now I am back home near family and that was the turning point for me........in 2011 I was 257 and on a 100 pound weight loss journey and still going strong. Im at 217 now and dreaming of what it will feel like to be 199!! 🙂
I'll tell you that the hardest thing to do after work is to work out, but trust me......it is SOOOOOOO worth it!! If you are having motivational issues, I suggest bringing your workout gear with you and putting it on before stepping out for the evening. That way, no excuses and you get your butt to the gym!! And man, you will have a rush of energy afterwards too and you will sleep a whole lot better at night. I was never a firm believer in the after work workout, but when I started the two a day workouts, I looked forward to those EVERY day!! 🙂
