Anyone else have very modest weightloss goals?
I am looking to loose 10 lbs by May 1st, 2016. I would love to connect with others that have modest weightloss goals, the reason behind mine is my family has a history of heart issues and type 2 diabetes on both my moms and dads sides of the family. So my overall goal isn't so much weightloss as it is a healthier life, but I thought weightloss would be easier to track and then overall health. I did gain 10lbs while in school last year so if I could loose that extra weight and be back down to 130 I would be very proud of myself!
I would love to add other people with similar goals to me as fitbit friends!

Just basing it off what you wrote, I would recommend changing your diet as your focus and adding activity into your day. The weight would follow. Diabetes and heart disease respond best to food choice and movement. Not inferring or implying that your diet isn't good, but if you gained 10 pounds, it could probably be tweaked. whatever you decide- applause for being aware and taking steps to a healthy future.

Thanks for the suggestion emili!
I have made some huge changes in my diet since I finished school in May. And I think I narrowed down that my bad eating habits were due to not having/taking the time to cook healthy meals. I would just grab what ever was closest, where now I try to make larger healthy meals and freeze them so I always have healthy "Grab N Go" meals on hand, no more buying poutine from the cafateria cause it is cheap and easy. This weightloss is just to help me both loose the weight (as I am techincally over weight based on my height) and I think it keeps me more accountable.
