I just got the fitbit blaze Sunday and yesterday it told me I burned over 4000 calories. I am 6"ft 0"in, 220 lbs, age 30. I am very active and i do a good bit if weight training. Here is my question. Do these numbers seem off? 45 minutes of free weights and about 14k steps? Being an automotive tech my heart rate was an average of about 65-90 all day. I eat very clean so with hitting my macros my calories according to the fitbit at was around 2189. it just seems like at these numbers i should not be building muscle like i am. i should be loosing it or completely ripped. any insight is appreciated.

Sure i can see the 4000 calories. I do only 10k steps a day and ride stationary bike for 50 minutes and i don't even work at a job and do 3200 calories a day.
I weigh 230 .You do weigh 220 so you're pretty heavy as well so that adds to it.
Why wouldn't you gain muscle if you do 45 minutes free weights a day?

you can double check your calories burned from an online calculator to at least give you an approximate number of TDEE. If it is somewhat near what your tracker is telling you, then you know its as accurate as a tracker can be. But all calories in and out are based on estimates. If your weight isn't changing and that is your goal, then everything is going the same as before you got your tracker...

It's a good start and I think according to your height and weight it is perfect for you to burn 4000 calories.
