Hi,
I am interested in having some friends although I don't know how to go about it LOL. I started using the flex in January. Although I am losing inches, the scale goes up and down by 3 lbs so I am stuck. I average between 10,000 - 15,000 steps per day and I am at the gym everyday. I would love to have some friends to work together to reach our goals and share information.
Thanks
Tracy

yay!! 🙂
I am always looking for friends who are on a jouney just like me!!
How do you like the flex? I have a flex I am considering upgrading but not so sure yet. I am not a gym goer, but I do workouts at home i'm deticated and I am up every day early to get it done!!!
What kind of workouts do you do that help you get to 10,000 to 15,000 a day!! I have hit 15 once and never again, I have a hard time hitting 10 haha.
Aubrie 🙂

I'll be your friend, too. 🙂
Some things that help me reach 10,000 steps with my Flex are the little things. I march a lot... as in, "march in place." Waiting for the microwave to heat up something? March. Brushing my teeth? March. Reading emails on my phone? March. Talking on the phone? March.
Other helps...
• Don't try to find the closest parking spot - park far from the door.
• Actually go into Starbucks (or wherever) instead of going through the drive-thru.
• At a store, walk down every aisle even if you don't need something in it - the hard part is resisting buying extra things. 🙂 (Oh! And don't hold on to the cart with the hand that has your Fitbit or it won't count the steps.)
• At a bustop or waiting for someone? Pace back and forth instead of just standing there - cuz marching in public is, um... awkward. 🙂
• Take the longer route when walking somewhere instead of the shortcut.
• I went to the mall last night and just walked for a change of scenery (instead of the concrete wall in front of my treadmill). Our weather here in Wisconsin is finally going to reach 50 degrees this week (compared to sub-zero), so I'm very much looking forward to getting outside for walks.
I'm nursing a strained calf muscle right now so trying to take it easy, but it's making it difficult to reach 10K. Was feeling really discouraged yesterday but feeling better today. My body doesn't react or recover the way it used to. Dang, getting older sucks (I'm 47).
Those are just a few tips. Hope it helps! I'd love to hear others' as well. 🙂

Oh, and to change your profile picture, when on your dashboard on a computer, look in the upper right corner and you'll see these little icons...
Click on the left circle that likely has the little silhouette - it will take you to a screen where you can change some settings. On that screen, look on the left hand side underneath your "photo" and it will show an option to change your profile picture. When I changed mine it didn't show up right away but eventually did.
