Hey everyone got my fitbit back in Jan of this year. I needed to lose like 40 pounds but soon after I fell of the wagon and gained like 15 more pounds by April 15th three days before my 27th birthday. Those 15 pounds where a blessing though because they had put me at the highest weight I have ever been at 235 pounds. That scared me... im not getting any younger and at the age of 27 I need to get my Body in check. Im glad to say over the last month I have lost 15 pounds and am down to 220 pounds and not stopping till I reach my goal. Fighting the temptations is easy at first but when someone in your life brings the bad into your home because they dont share your weight problems it can be tough. I cant blame anyone but myself but having people in your corner helps. Im looking for people to help motivate me and keep me on track and im looking forward to doing the same.
Thanks, Chad

Hey buddy, dont let life get you down. And certainly do your best to keep from temptations. My diet includes gummy bears and some sweet High fructose candy that although bad for you also has good benefits. It will spike insulin levels to help deliver nutrients to the body. i have about 15 after a work out to get a bit of sweets in. it helps keep me from other things like ice cream and cookies. A small controlled treat goes a long way against big temptations.

hey chad, the most important thing is you noticed, and you cared and you're doing something about it! i struggle on the wagon, off the wagon, and i'm finally focusing on finding that "balance" and that it's ok to have what i love, just not only that and all of it (like, the whole pizza, the whole bag of hershey kisses.... ).....stay strong, i'm new here (fitbit was my mother's day prize) but finding a ton of motivation....i find that like minded people are the best support, even when it's not direct! best of luck to you dear!!

Chad,
Similarly, I was in your shoes not too long ago and it is ROUGH to be around family and friends at parties, social events, or even just to hangout and be the only guy in the room who has to resist the goodies and food that you've worked so hard to burn off just a few hours ago. Although you may feel like you're the "only guy in the room," you're not alone buddy!!! Just think about how far you've come and are still willing to go. You've already lost 15 pound which is quite an accomoplisment. Don't let that piece of pie or cake tempt you! In fact, when you make healthy choices on a daily basis, you'll start to inspire those people in your life and those around you and they will begin to mimic you're good eating habits. You can do this!!!! We're all in it together 🙂
Best,
Nick
