New- Looking to Lose 25 lbs - Help me stay motivated!

Hi!  I am new to the fit bit community.  I just got my fit bit on Monday, I'm already loving it.  I'm 28 and looking to lose about 25 lbs.   I'm looking to find some people to help keep me motivated and hope to do the same for others.

I am a working mom of an active 4 year old and am always trying to juggle the work/life/family balance and always put myself last.  I'm hoping to change that!

Hi, I am pretty new to FitBit too...have had it about a month. I am a tad older than you, now 64 and retired for about a year!! I was in a pretty busy high pressure work so did not exercise as I should have. Trying to make up for it now!! Just got a treadmill and fitbit to motivate myself!! I'd love to lose 25 lb, but probably should aim for more....like 40!! So hopefully we can motivate. The fitbit site is cool, with all the logging of food, etc. Hope you are doing well.

A high pressure career is exactly what I battle with.  Between being stuck in meetings/at my desk most of the day I find it challenging to find time to get steps/exercise in.  When I get home, I just want to spend time with my family and relax.

That's exactly where I was....meetings and more meetings. I was in
administration of a county human services agency. Once in awhile I could get out
at lunch and walk some but not regularly. So I retired last year and have
been travelling a lot and being much more active. I do now need to lose some
weight so that was the motivation to get the fitbit and a new treadmill.
Hopefully I can keep motivated and lose some!! How about you? how are you
doing?
