New Years to Valentine's Day 2016 Challenge

Welcome to the New Year Everyone! This will start January 1, 2016 officially 🙂

 

If you have seen the posts before this is a challenge that everyone is invited to join to set your own personal weight loss goal for the next 6 weeks. This is all about having a great support system and most importantly feeling great and happy and healthy about yourself. Don't worry if you have bad weeks because we all go through it.

 

To join the challenge all you need to do is post your weight stats & check in as often as you'd like with an update or just to share a story from your week. This group has some huge inspiration in it and people that give wonderful advice.


Looking forward to catching up with all our friends from the other challenges and anyone who is new!

A little rundown of terminology for anyone who is new 🙂

 

USW- Ultimate Starting Weight

CSW- Current Starting Weight

GW- Goal Weight

UGW- Ultimate Goal Weight

PW- Previous Weight

CW- Current Weight

That's about 1 lb /week.  should be doable.   Newly started and I"m just past 11000 step/day.     Had no idea this weight had creeped up on me until I bought a fitbit scale.   Just thought my jeans were shrinking.  lol

@dareric Thank you for the advice. I know part of the problem is I've never found somthing I love! I have a stationary bike and treadmill, both of which are currently accumulating cobwebs 🙂 My husband is digging them out for me as we speak. It is cold here so my time outside will be limited until spring. I would love to try zumba, but live in a small town and the only classes that are offered are while I am still at work. I also have many excersise videos that I need to dig out. I am determined to find somthing I can stick too! @203.4 being in the 100's is too close not too.

I'm in! I've been trying to find motivation for so long, everyone always says "you're not fat or quit trying to lose weight", but maybe here I'll find some encouragement.

The last challenge was great. I managed to loose 2 lbs and enjoyed reading all the posts. So I am definitely in for the new challenge:)

hi i am in! I didnt do so well on last challenge but i am determined to get this weight off. New year new me!

I have my meals planned out for the week and i have an exercise schedule planned for the week so hopefully this challenge will be more successful. Here are my stats:

First check in for me this year...  like I suspected, I gained over the holidays - had 3 grandbabies at the house, 2 weeks off from work (no regular walking) and too much to eat.  Now to lose what I gained & hopefully more on this challenge:

Just read your post. I really encourage you to find a gym that is not intimidating and welcomes you. Maybe it is your perception. Just stick those earbuds in and ignore the others!
