New Years to Valentine's Day 2016 Challenge

Welcome to the New Year Everyone! This will start January 1, 2016 officially 🙂

 

If you have seen the posts before this is a challenge that everyone is invited to join to set your own personal weight loss goal for the next 6 weeks. This is all about having a great support system and most importantly feeling great and happy and healthy about yourself. Don't worry if you have bad weeks because we all go through it.

 

To join the challenge all you need to do is post your weight stats & check in as often as you'd like with an update or just to share a story from your week. This group has some huge inspiration in it and people that give wonderful advice.


Looking forward to catching up with all our friends from the other challenges and anyone who is new!

A little rundown of terminology for anyone who is new 🙂

 

USW- Ultimate Starting Weight

CSW- Current Starting Weight

GW- Goal Weight

UGW- Ultimate Goal Weight

PW- Previous Weight

CW- Current Weight

MFP- My Fitness Pal

This is great! I'm new to this sort of challenge, but very interested. 

 

USW- 224 lb

CSW- 206.4lb

GW- 195 lb 

UGW- 165 lb

 

I officially finished school last May (2015), and in June (2015) I began my weight loss journey with the motivation to better my health in order to fight against migraines. My journey was going great - less amounts of headaches, and while the pain was still intense the duration of them lowered significantly.
I think there may be others who struggled with this, but starting from Thanksgiving, I sort of fell of the bandwagon and my weight loss and workouts took a bit a hit.  

My crazy schedule has finally subsided, and I am eager to get back on track.

I am interested.  What is the difference between ultimate and current.  How do I sign up?

Ultimate is what you ultimately want to weigh (if you are choosing to lose in smaller increments)

Current is what you currently weigh as of the day you are checking in...

 

Just follow some of the other that posted before you, post your current starting weight, your goal weight for this challenge and if you want your ultimate goal weight. Hope to see you here checking in @Joy123

Here are mine! The last challenge I did very well, I'm proud to say I've lost 57 pounds but most importantly I have been able to run a 5k and I'm the same size I was in middle school! Those things are always more rewarding in the long run than the scale number. Hope everyone enjoys themselves this evening and has a happy and safe night 🙂

Count me in 🙂  I just did the last challenge and was not disappointed at all.  I actually lost 4 pounds during the holidays instead of gaining.  So I can only do better right?  🙂

 Good Morning All and Happy New Year! I am hoping this will be my last weight loss challenge , then maybe we can start a maintenance challenge? Anyway i have changed my UGW - 3 times since July so maybe not...lol   Only lost 2.6 pounds in the last challenge as my body is fighting me every step of the way. Since my current weight is lower then i was even as a teenager , i guess i kind of understand this. I am a healthy BMI and body fat percent just not where i want to be so onward to the numbers ( sorry for the novel , guess i'm feeling introspective today:) )

This will be my first challenge as well. Not exactly sure how this works? Do we post in here the entire time or do we sign up somewhere else?
