New and excited! Looking for friends to join in on challenges :)

Hello!

My name is Danielle. I got my Fitbit last night as an early graduation gift. I am feeling super motivated and ready to get started. I've been working on planning my walks all morning, and coming up with daily routines that are manageable. I'm just going to start with walking a few miles everyday on our local railtrail.

A little about my physique: I'm 21 years old, 5'4", and 223lbs. My goal weight is 150lbs  - so that means I want/have to lose 73 pounds. I know I can do it. At my highest weight I was at 260 and managed to get down to 180, my lowest ever. I remember how good I felt at that weight, and I want it back! In the past two years I've gained 40 pounds. My worst fear is making a full regress. So here I am, fitbit and all, ready to lose the weight again (and more)! I am also counting calories.

I really want to use the challenge feature but I have no friends to compete with. I was wondering if anyone would be interested in joining me? We could motivate eachother!

I have just found this thread where plenty of women who, like you, want friends as well

Also, there is this thread that has plenty of members adding eachother and; last but not least,  this one has a huge amount of friends to add. Smiley Happy

It may seem tough, but you already managed to do the first step, which is get up an do something about it 🙂  You can do it!  I'm new to fitbit as well... but I have friends who have it and so it's fun to try to outdo each other 🙂

I'll send you a friend request as well.
