Hey! I'm Tracy!
This is my first week using the FitBit One. I'm loving it so far, but I feel like it could be a lot more fun if I was able to communicate with other users, and we could reach out to each other for advice and/or motivation! I would also love to exchange meal ideas.
I have around 40 pounds to lose and I'm super pumped! I would love the support and to also show support to others.
Here's to making new friends!... Hopefully! Haha!

Hi!! I came across this conversation thread by accident. I am glad I did! I am looking for FitBit friends for motivation and a challenge too. I've had my Fitbit since October and am just starting to take advantage of all of the support and networks in place for sucess. Looking to lose some weight. Feel free to add me as a freind. Good morning ladies, well I am working at getting to my 10,000 steps a day. I got up to 3,213 steps yesterday, I finally stopped looking at the treadmill and went on for 20 minutes, and today I will do 30 minutes. I haven't been good a tracking my food, but I do have it public. If anyone wants to add me as a friend that would be great.

The easiest way is you can click on my name, see groups in the lower right and click fitbit friends!
From there you can join! Hope to see you there!

Hello: I also started using Fitbit in March and recently went to Hawaii with a friend that has a Fitbit. We walked over 10,000 steps each day. When I returned I had JETLAG and could not get myself started again for a week. I have started again and would like to know how to add friends. Does that mean we can see each others stats? That would be fun. I lost 13 pounds the first month of using Fitbit, I need to loose another 30 pounds. Where do you walk? Do you walk in the city or countryside? What is your story?

Awesome job Cheryl!! Treamils are hard for me mentally. No matter what I watch or do I get sooo bored. ADD exerciser I guess 🙂

Hey ladies!
I've been getting to know some of you and I'm so excited. You all seem so great! I wish I had you here for workout buddies! I love going for walks/jogs, but I love it more when I have someone to talk to... it makes the time go by a little faster I think, and it seems like less of a workout. Haha!
I had some delicious blueberry banana oat pancakes for breakfast this morning and in a couple of hours I'll be getting about 30 mins of cardio in.

Hi Tracy, I just ran across your initial post and wanted to see if I could join your group? You all seem to have a lot of excitement and tenacity to lose weight using the Fitbit. I just got my Fitbit. I am going to Zumba class tonight and excited to see how many steps it records. I work all day at a computer so my activity is pretty nil. I need to lose 50lbs. I am at my highest weight ever and need lots of friends and encouragement. Please feel free to connect with me. 🙂

I just joined fitbit this week and I am also pretty pumped up! I am 32 years old and have four kiddos at home. I homeschool them and that keeps me busy. I am looking for motivation to keep moving and to especially stay away from the horrible food that tastes so good. My first goal is to lose 30 pounds. You sound like a fun person! I need some friends too!

Hi Everyone!
I realize this thread started awhile ago but you seem like great ladies who are motivated! I am fairly new to FitBit & just started exploring the community. I won my FitBit through a Biggest Loser competition at my company & was able to drop 20 lbs during that time 🙂
I'm looking for extra support as the competition is over and I want to stay active and continue with my weight loss goals. I'm always looking for new activity ideas and I LOVE to cook and share recipes! I'm working to lose another 10-15 lbs and maintain my healthy lifestyle.
Anyone with similar goals/interests would be a much appreciated support! I'd love to help others stay motivated and reach their goals as well! Happy stepping! 🙂
