New to FB and looking for friends

Hi there!  Santa aka (my boyfriend) brought me a fitbit! I've been wanting one for as long as I can remember and I finially have one!  I am 32 years old, 5ft 7, and my goal is to get back to 140lbs. I am 205lbs now so that's a 65lbs I need to shed. I'm looking for some great friends to help me through my journey, so if you are interested in rocking 2015 with me please add me as a friend!!

I am in the same boat as you I am 33, 5' 4", and 203 lbs. I have lost almost 40 lbs between October and January but have hit a block. I have 4 kids, workout at home, and have a bad knee so I have to be careful what kind of workouts I do. I walk my first 5K on in March around my 34th birthday. I love my fitbit and love that we can help push each other to work harder to reach our goals. Part of what has helped me loose the weight that I have is I have a blog that I post on. It is so easy to lie to yourself but hard to lie to others when you post pictures with it.

Hey,

I got my fitbit for Christmas this year as well, so I'm pretty new to this as well. However, I've been in my fitness journey for a couple of years now.

Fitbit is great for tracking food; diet AND exercise are what you need to achieve your desired fitness level, not one or the other. Remember that!

If you want to track exercise other than walking or running, and you don't have a heartrate monitor fitbit, then it's best to log the exercise manually.

Welcome, and good luck!

2015 is gonna be my year to get back to my "playing weight".  Started in Sept. and lost 15 by Christmas and now down 9 since New Years.  (Full disclosure I am exercising and using Advocare since New Years 😉 )

Looking for others who want to make 2015 their year too, so I am game!

2015 is gonna get rocked!
