Hi, I'm new to FitBit! Just joined today and am excited to have the FitBit so that I can see my progress in numbers. I'm a data girl....the more the better for me.
I was wondering if there is anyone that would like a "buddy" on their weight loss journey. I have the support of my loving family and would also like to find some cyber FitBit friends to share with (and help keep me accountable!) I have over 100 lbs to lose and will be taking it one day at a time.

Good Morning to All,
I will be 60 this year and I now think those comments I have heard about the older you are the harder is it to lose weight
I too am new here to this forum with at least 100 to lose and already struggling with my sugar addictions
I look forward to any help - advice and suggestions that will hopefully be shared here
As I don't have any support by my Family as they have heard all my promises & hopes of loosing weight before - way too many times

I plateaued at losing 131lbs (doctor said nothing left to lose LOL). Just be careful, listen to yoru body, and substitute instead of denying! Sugar rush can be gotten by a handful of grapes or a whole orange and the best part, since the calorie count is a helluva lot less then a Snickers bar, you can indulge more in them!
Invest one hour a day to doing something active and easy like walking - start with a mile to a couple miles. Then go for 3 miles, then 4! It's not overnight but investing one hour pays dividends on your weight loss journey!

Hi! I've had my Fitbit One for about a week now. At 32, I have at least 150 lbs to lose total but would like to lose at least 50 for the year (no complaints if I lose more, just trying to be a little realistic). Would love friends for motivation but don't know how to add. Feel free to add me!

Hi! welcome! I just strapped my Fitbit on last week, so I'm a newbie also.
I need to TRACK my food intake. Sometimes I forget, sometimes I get lazy ... let's help each other.

Feel free to add me if you like. Just started on here myself and I have 160lbs to lose. When you hit the 100+lbs overweight mark there are a number of issues that only others in the same situation can relate to.

i would like to be ur buddy. i also have 100 lbs to lose. i've been with fitbit since december 2014. i'm still not familiar with the device but i lost 1 lbs. not much to loose in a month. i'm too heavy on my legs, i can't walk to far before my back gets to hurting. i got myself a stationary bike last month. anyway let me know where we can get together. have a great evening

Great job! I also have lost some weight started bout same time. I have lost 15 pounds already. It just has motivated me to keep on going that it can be done with a bit of effort and motivation we can get there.
