Hey everyone! My name is Sully and my mom just gave me her fitbit to use after she'e been seeing me make a complete lifestyle change to get in shape. I started out at a very uncomfortable 231 lbs and over the course of the last few weeks have trimmed that down to 217.5. I'm motivated to keep going and get into better shape, and I'm excited to see how FitBit helps me achieve that! I just have the flex but it sure is cool and hopefully helps me stay on track.
Let's do this!

@CSully Your mom couldn't have given you a better present. Looks like she wants you to continue on the road to success.
The Flex is a sweet gadget. I only take mine off when I shower or charge it.
We're here to help you enjoy your journey, so please let us know if you need anything.
Welcome to the forums.

Hi CSully! Sounds like you are on your way! I started with the Flex and loved how motivating it was and I am pleased to report that it really can help with a lot of positive changes regarding health and fitness. I just got my Charge HR yesterday and am super motivated to continue making changes as my fitness level progresses. That is what is so great about Fitbit...there is so much to keep you motivated. Beyond the tracker itself, your dashboard, the community, friends, challenges, and activity groups are all great resoures right at your fingertips! If you want some extra motivation, feel free to friend me and also check out our Monthlhy Challenge Activity Group...lots of friendly people and we all create our own monthly challenges to work on each month. Best of luck with your goals!!!

Hi Sully
The first step is knowing you have to make a change , second step is wantng to make the change and the third step is doinging it.
You are well on your way !
it won't be easy, if you can stay away from the all or nothing thoughts you wll succeed. Some meals you willmake a poor choice, some days you wll not make your excersie goals - the key is not to let that de-rail your - don't wait till the next day to get back on track , get back on track your next snack or meal
