Not New but still looking for some fitness buddies.......

Have owned my fitbit for over a year, now. I have not adjusted to using it 24/7, but am trying to get back in the habit. It did help me last year, combined with ADF, to lose about 12 pounds, which I promptly gained back, once winter arrived. Grrr.

As far as my health goes, I have been on a pretty rocky roller-coaster, since 2010, when I had a failed surgery, which left me with permanent nerve damage. Up until this summer, I was on several exhausting drugs, which made my already slow metabolism, TANK. Even at my youngest and fittest I could only shed about 6 pounds a month. Now, with all my assorted health challenges, it's probably only 3.........double grrr. I will say, tho, that I dropped 6 pounds during the month of August, by doing smoothies for the first ten days of the month.......then I had another setback, and ended up in the ER, so I lost a whole week, trying to adjust, eating crap, going to my primary, etc. etc.) Triple grrrr.

News flash for me.........apparently, after age 50, little pieces of calcium can break off and irritate the crap out of your ear canal, causing some pretty intense vertigo. Who KNEW???
I AM really TRYING to "embrace the crone and age gracefully", but this is just getting ridiculous.

So yea, really could use some buddies on here, to exchange support, encouragement, ideas, recipes, etc. etc. with.
Thanks for reading. 🙂
