I've had my Fitbit Flex since my husband bought it for me for Christmas.
I've synced it Myfitnesspal and I try and run 3 times a week. I often don't reach my step goal on the days I don't run, but I thrash it on the days I run and at weekends - Boy! Is that satisfying. I usually run about 5 or 6k, I track it with a running app.
I have hubby, two children and two dogs, and I work part-time. I've been interval training for weight loss. Weight loss has been slow, I've only lost 4 kilos in 3 months so I don't notice it much but I feel great!
I'm three months in and now I need some friends keep me motivated.
btw - I don't know how to add friends

Lynsey,
Your daily average for steps is scary awesome ! I have had my Fitbit One for less than 1 week and keep it on me all the time. I have a hard time breaking 10K. WTG 🙂

Thanks! I don't particulary think of myself as an active person but I do more steps than I realised. I am a bit of a contradiction, a bit lazy but I also can't sit still, lol. Its all from taking the kids to school, cleaning and shopping. We have a Tesco Express up the road, I always walk to it where as all my neighbours drive! Although we have a dog, I don't walk him very often. Having a fitbit does motivate me, I've been known to run up and down the stairs a few times to meet my targets, lol! 🙂

I have a hard time breaking my 10k goal in the beginning. Then once you get inot the mindset you find yourself thinking about how you can do more steps throughout the day. That what has happened to me.
I park the car as far away from the door inot work as possible, walk when it's an option instead of the car. Run just that little bit further... it works.
This week though I am seriously laxy. I'm off work, at home with the children for the Eaater break and we're all doing very little to let ourselves recooperate after a busy term. I'm going to through myself at it next week.
Lynsey - I added you as a friend but I can't see you on my profile.

Welcome to the Fitbit Family! I'm sure you'll have a blast
Having a Fitbit will show you how really active you are on a daily basis, I remember wearing my Zip and seeing 700 steps for the day the first week and I started to push myself a bit further, it will become easier with time, trust me
Let me know if you have any questions and I'll be glad to help!
