Omron BF306 Body Composition Monitor - anyone have/had one?

ANSWERED
I weigh same day/time weekly and domes weeks I feel disheartened when the scales are not reflecting the hard work I've out in the previous weeks. I've come to the conclusion that scales are not the best way of monitoring my progress. I am contemplating buying a Omron BF306 Body Composition Monitor
-anyone had any experience with one of these or something similar.

Don't waste your money, it's impossible to get that accurate with only estimating fat from hand to hand, when most fat is carried a whole lot lower than that.

Omron has a foot and hand scale version that will improve things. Tanita mentioned too.

Realize those scales can be upwards of 5% accurate, but mostly 10% because of varying hydration levels throwing the estimate off. They at least can be consistent if you are on hydration levels, so it will indicate a direction at least.

Morning after rest day, eating normal sodium levels, not sore from last workout - best valid weigh-in time too.

Cheaper just to measure every 2 weeks though to see results.

And if indeed you are losing inches but not weight, it means you are eating more than you think, you are eating at maintenance, and your body is making great improvements from the exercise while burning fat. Or the Fitbit is over-estimating your burn, which is less likely than it under-estimating it.
