Alrighty! So, I've been working exceptionally hard over the course of the last few months to reach my 30lb weightloss goal. I couldn't shake the weight for months, until I got my Alta.
Now, I track everything and burn above and beyond what I need to caloriewise. My water intake is a gallon daily, and I have a low sodium diet. I walk 40 minutes a day and am doing Insanity by Beach Body. My first week of having my Alta was incredible! I lost 6lbs (a plateau, as I previously mentioned, I wasn't able to shake)! For the last two weeks though, I haven't lost anything. I've in fact gone up 0.8.
My body fat has decreased by 1% overall. Is it just because I'm building muscle? Is my body in shock? I just want to know that I'm on the right path...
HELP!

Sounds like you are on the right path. We dont lose every week.
Mix things up as well if you are doing the same exercise daily do something different. Same thing goes for food mix it up
Now Im going to move this to the weight Loss board where you will get more attention.

I highly recommend the trendweight.com website. Trendweight can link to your Fitbit account, and it will show your trends for weight loss, fat %, fat mass, and muscle mass.
I was stuck in the 220-219 range for a couple of weeks. But when I looked at Trendweight, I saw that I was in fact losing weight. In my case I hit a point where my fat % dropped 6 %. And my muscle mass when up 6%. So I didn't appear to lose any weight, but I had lost 9 lbs of fat!
Here is my 3 month weight loss trend.
Trendweight uses a formula of average moving weight. Basically recent weight readings have more importenace to the trend. Weight readings under the trend, are called sinkers and they pull down the weight trend line. Readings about the line are floaters, and they raise your trend weight line.
By using moving averages, you elminate things like sudden weight loss or gain due to water gain or loss.
It's a great tool. And helps you eliminate the madness of "I've worked hard and I've not lost any weight".
Give the site a try, I highly recommend it.

Hi Wendy!
Thank you for your insight. The DVDs have multiple discs at different intensities and I switch them up daily so that I never do the same workout on the same day of the week. Additionally, I do power yoga on the "day off" in order to boost my deficit for the day.
Thank you for your advice though! I'll look into switching up the routine/food plan a bit more!

Except for the last three days, where you were pretty stable, you have been losing weight overall. Just increase your exercise a little, or cut back on the calories a tiny bit, or both.
I can see why you thought you weren't losing weight. Like me I spent a few weeks bouncing between 220 and 219. I couldn't see the trend that I was losing! Very helpful site.
There is a free book on the site, look on the help page, pretty good info in the book.

As @WendyB noted, you’re on the right path. However, weight loss usually isn’t linear, and three weeks is still a short period. For all its promises and the likeability of Shaun T, Insanity probably isn’t the best exercise you can think of and it’s not going to cause crazy muscle gain, especially since you’re a woman. You would be better off doing things that are sustainable over the long term, like walking and lifting weight following a sensible programme based on progressive overload.
Trendweight is great, even more so when your daily weight values go up and down and the trend isn’t as obviously downward pointing as with @JohnRi. This is mine for the past three months:

Im also going to look into this system as well. So the fact that the scale doesnt show loss doesnt mean im not burning the fat off ? This could really be a hepfull option in my weight loss. Thanks for posting it.
