If you have your food set up to how much you want to lose (I have mine for 1.5lb a week so 750 cal def) so at the end of the day to achieve that goal you should be in the zone. See how that goes for a week or so, if you aren't losing or losing what you expect you can cut back a little and go under. Everyone is different and the 500 less a day = 1lb a week is just a guideline really.  Good luck and keep moving!

I'm sloooowly losing (like .5 pound a week) and I tend to end the day in the red. I go to bed early, around 9pm, so I figure I'll burn a little more while sleeping. I do want to increase my loss per week, so I've been trying to end in the green.

So, what is your calorie deficit goal? Mine is 500 per day, which means I want to lose a pound a week. I always end the day in the yellow - but haven't lost any weight yet. Of course, I just got started last Thursday. LOL

As the original poster you might be able to edit it out. If you tried already  and can't, you might contact support and ask them about removing it for you. I think that is contact.fitbit.com

Good luck
