Just checking to see if anyone is following this diet? It's pretty healthy, has different Phases and uses real food and counts portions not calorie counting, which is a nice break. I have done the program before and had good success, but I need to stay on the plan more than a week to get the results I want.
Here's an example of a meal plan, I'm in the first phase.
B- greek yogurt, coffee with skim milk
Sn- 15 almonds (should have also had a protein & veggie)
L- burrito bowl from Moe's but no rice or beans or cheese or guac, pretty much veggies & chicken & salsa, yummy!
Sn- 15 almonds (again should have included protein & veggies)
D- (plan for ground turkey & veggies)
Exercise - BalletCore Class, looking forward to it!

FABULOUS! Everyone loved them except my oldest, he is the pickiest eater lol
I loaded it up with fresh lettuce, it was like a enchilada salad almost.

So are you still trying the State of Slim. I have read the book through phase one. I am trying to do it. 3rd day now, and didn't eat 100 % State of slim way on Day 2, but have stayed away from the processed food and sugars. It does make a difference.

Sorry I'm not, it's a great diet, but I prefer limiting my portions and eating what I like. It is a great way to eat though, let me know what you think.

I've been thr one round, and unfortunately got lazy and saw the weight start to creep up. I'm now starting over with a group of friend, on day 2, and 3.2 lbs down!! I want to learn from my mistakes this time and keep it going

Hello,
I just started the SOS program. I also have a fitbit. It looks like you have been involved with SOS for a long time and have been attempting numerous exercise activities. I'd love to hear if you are still doing this and any advice you can give me. Thanks!

I wrote to you previously. I am starting at 170 am on Phase 1. Where do you take a Booty Barre class? I live in Arapahoe County on the east side of Denver near Parker Road and Florida and I work in Aurora. I cant have a class far away. I also seem to always need a partner or class to keep me on track with exercise. Thanks for any help.

I'm in my 5th week of phase 3, have lost a total of 27.6 pounds and 23 inches. I think it's a well balanced diet, but there are several of those out there. What I really like about it is when I do have my indulgence meals the scale doesn't go out of control. Which tells me that my body is able to metabolize these occasional treats. In the past if I did have a (what I call a trigger food) indulgence or treat that is all my body craved and I could gain 5 pounds over night with one indulgence meal.
Alll that to say, the focus of this diet is to jump start, reignite your metabolism. I am a 56 year old woman who has battled weight my whole life, the diet, losing was one thing, but maintaining has been a whole other story. Before I started on this journey with State of Slim I had just about given up hope of ever being able to eat "normal" (occassional treats without it completely derailing me). My doctor encouraged me to give this a try. So far I've not been disappointed. My bodies responses to the 2 indulgening meals a week has given me hope for the maintenance phase. I have 5 more pounds to lose to be at my personal ideal weight.
If you are considering trying it...I encourage you to go for it.

Anyone out there doing this now?? I followed state of slim perfectly from January-may then I went on the recommended maintenance for 3 months. While I was on plan I saw huge success. Then I tried to get back on plan after 3 months maintenance(which i sucked at...gained 10 lbs)....and I've lost the 10 I gained, bit no more. Anyone have any advice? I can't seem to get back on it.

Yes, I was the one who entered this information and decided not to do the diet... There's nothing new under the sun and this diet is like so many other diets such as the Curves diet which I tried many years ago. Instead, I became vegan and even as a vegan, I portioned control the grains I ate with the vegan food and have gone down from a size 16-18 to a 12. The food is so yummy that you will want to continue to eat this way. I really recommend it. There is a free site to get you started. Google 21 day vegan kickstart and you will have 3 weeks of free recipes and daily menus with videos on how to do many things. My husband, who is not vegan, loves the food. We cook together. The good news is that it is not a diet. State of Slim is a difficult diet. Good Luck!
