Alright, I see that there are a lot of people on here looking for friends and accountability buddies.
I have had my Fitbit for about a week without changing/doing or logging anything just to gauge what my actual level of activity is... and it's not good.
I'm 25 years old, have 2 kids, am going through a divorce with a stressful job, and I find that I just want to sit on the couch, watch netflix, and gorge myself on (Cherry Garcia) Ice Cream when I get home from work.
I am really looking to lose 40 lbs over the next year (I'm 165 lbs right now at 5'3... and it doesn't feel good).
I never had body issues before I got married. 4 years ago the words "I feel fat" would have never even come to my mouth even though I was only 15 lbs lighter.
I am excited to start... And without giving my sad and sappy life story, want some people to start with me. Today is my first day of actually getting up and moving!
( I work the graveyard shift... So that is why I'm, here so late)

I'm also aiming for 40lbs, and i think we're a similar height/weight...i'm hoping to do it in 7 months at around 1.5lbs per week. I started last week, and have lost 6lbs in 7 days, which i'm sure will slow up as the 1st week is usually just bloat/water/muscle etc. Good luck!
