Did you mean:

Thank you Fitbit you are truly changing my life for the better!

I have been overweight my entire life, and at my worst I was over 450 lbs.  I am 6ft 2in but still that was awful, and the doctor checked my A1C and I was 14.  They put me on an insulin injection pen, metformin, cholesterol medicine and blood pressure medicine.  I am 36 yrs old and this was a kick in the pants I needed.  I have a 9 yr old Daughter who I want to be there in her life for a long time and I could no longer be a lazy guy who didn't care what food and drink I put into my body.

I got down to 427 lbs, and decided I was feeling well enough that I could start hitting the gym.  I purchased a Fitbit Versa 3 and got down to under 400 lbs!  So I picked up the Fitbit Aria Air and got an air fryer and got very strict with my diet.  Now I am down to 375 lbs!!!!   I am averaging over 8000 steps a day and working to average 10000 steps a day.  I love the leaderboard app on my watch because my Sister, Mother, and Father have Fitbits and oddly my Mother is my biggest challenger lol!  Every time I get the gold medal she creeps in a few more steps to steal it back!   It's the proper motivation I need!

I am tracking all food and drink I put in my body now on the Fitbit App, and I have been drinking at least a gallon of water a day.  I have cut carbs way down and bumped protein way up, so on average I may have 50-60 carbs and my Protein is north of 150 g every day.  I like to get my protein from lean meats.

My goal is 300 lbs, and then heavy weight training down to 250 lbs.

Lastly due to how much I love using my Fitbit Versa 3 and the Fitbit App, I purchased a year of Premium and upgraded to the Fitbit Sense.   I love the Sense and it feels very nice, being made of stainless steel.  The EDA scan is also a nice thing I do a couple times a day to just relax...

Thank you to every one who helped make the Fitbit Ecosystem and the Fitbit Sense you have restarted my engine and inspired me to get this **ahem** weight off lol!

This picture can be very motivating! My granddaughter made a poster for me. It reads - When you feel like giving up, remember why you started. It means all the more to me since she gave it to me.

Aww that is adorable!  I love whenever my Daughter draws and shares her art with me, I have one of her self portraits tattooed on my arm
