Great job TBC!!! You've already hit on the notion that this is as much a mental exercise as it is physical. You have lots going for you: family support, determination, access to the outdoors. All of these will be vital to your continued succes.
We're in the middle of winter here in the Northern Hempishere and it's tougher to get outside. It was -17F this morning. I found myself pacing around the house last night trying to get those last couple hundred steps in. Would it have made any difference if I fell short? Not in the long run...but I didn't want to set a precedent. Off to the gym later this morning.

Nice progress @TBC , keep it up!
One small note: 'BMI' has to be body fat percentage. BMI is a number, not a percentage. The scale displays weight and body fat %, not bmi itself.
The BMI number can be looked up on the weight page seperately.

Glad you're back...I was missing your daily updates.
Your approach to being away was fantastic! Doing some planning up front avoids making bad choices when faced with all the scenarios you described. One thing you might want to try next time is ordering from the appetizer menu. If you choose wisely, and add soup or salad, you automatically have a safe meal.

I'm 21 and about to go under a sleep study for sleep apnea with a BMI of 26, I'm a bit terrified I have to wear a machine while I'm sleeping as well, would kind of creep my boyfriends out. On an average night I wake up 17 times, restless for 3 hours; so I am pretty sure I have sleep apnea....
How difficult is using the machine, what does your wife/husband think of it?

I just had a sleep study and got a CPAP, I was awake 91 times in one hour during REM sleep. I have a CPAP and I feel like a new woman. There are different kinds of masks, I have a whole face mask, but you can get one which is just a canula in your nose. Trust me your boyfriend will be happier that you don't snore, plus you will lose weight, have more energy, and be happier and less irritable. Sleep apnea takes years off of your life, causes heart disease, diabetes, and hypertension. If a person truly loves you, they will love your CPAP and you don't have to wear it every day, just 70 % of the time foryour insurance to pay for it.
