I'm going to Disney in a little while next year and I'd like to know your viewpoint as to how one can handle the temptation, food and drink in such theme parks.

If nothing looks healthy, order a child's meal and choose milk and fruit as the sides. They have worked to offer healthy foods in with the foods people want to have as treats. Here is an article with some of the top choices and there is a link at the end of it to their menus. In California, they have to show the calories. http://www.lifehack.org/articles/lifestyle/10-healthier-food-options-disneyland-that-taste-awesome.h... Oh - they have mickey check items - they are supposed to be healthier too.

They do allow you to bring in a water bottle and things like apple slices. Water and good snacks do sound like a good idea.

While Disney definitely has some tempting, very unhealthy options, it's also one of the most diet-friendly in terms of variety. Almost every restaurant will have some kind of vegetarian option, fish, chicken, that kind of thing. It takes some thought and effort to pick those, but they are just as delicious as the other dishes!
