I've been working out on my total gym but have not figured out how to track ion Fitbit. Also using Tai Chi. Any suggestions?

Thanks for the information. The Alta HR uses an auto-recognition called Smart Track. You can read more about it here:
Here's how you can log activities that the Alta HR may not pick up automatically.
If you go to fitbit.com, and click the Dashboard link. Then go to Log > Activity. At the bottom, you'll see a box where you can select or create a new Activity. Then you can fill in the information as needed.
Tai Chi already has an activity entry, but you'll need to create a custom one for Total Gym. Or you can log that as Workout.
