Valentines Day to Easter Challenge 2016

Welcome to the next challenge! Smiley Very Happy

 

This one will run from Valentines day to Easter, so from February 14th to March 27th. Everyone and anyone can join this challenge in which we all set our own weight loss goals, this gives us 7 weeks in total to work towards them! Smiley Happy

 

This group of lovely people provides encouraging support and words of advice as we all share our experiences, good and bad. It has proved beyond helpful to myself and many others as we become healthier and achieve amazing things.

 

To be part of the challenge you start by posting your initial weight stats and what you would like to achieve by the end of the challenge. You can then check in as often as you'd like with a weight update, to share a story from your week or start a conversation about a topic you'd like some advice on.

 
So excited for us to keep working towards our goals with the fantastic friends from the last challenges and a big 'Hello!' to all the challenge newbies! Smiley Very Happy

A little rundown of terminology for anyone who is new: 

 

USW- Ultimate Starting Weight

CSW- Current Starting Weight

GW- Goal Weight

UGW- Ultimate Goal Weight

PW- Previous Weight

CW- Current Weight

MFP- My Fitness Pal

So I had a pretty fun weekend, between good times with friends, lots of cookie and cake pop baking with the kids, and Valentine's Day candies and dinner, alcohol, and lack of activity over the weekend I knew I'd be regretting the scale. Well here it is....I've offically exhausted my one cheat meal a month (cheat weekend in reality lol) but it's okay because I will get there. Just gotta do a little extra work!

I am definitely in!

 

USW (1/2016): 222.0 lbs
CSW(2/15/16): 214.0 lbs

GW: 199.0 lbs

 

Not sure what others are doing, but I will try to post updates once a week or so. Hoping this will help me achieve the activity goal I have set for myself. Woman Happy

Hi - I am currently in 2-3 workweek challenges.  I have a group of co-workers, friends and "fitbit friends".  I love it and it keeps me on track.

@scottie0714 I have chosen Thursdays to be my weigh-in day and will post my stats/progress then but  I come here daily though to read how everyone else is doing and to help keep me motivated 🙂

I'm in! I started to loose weight but have been experiencing some ansiety because of my lack of organization with school and work, so I gained back some of the weight I lost, plus I had a lot of chocolate yesterday I must admit. 

 

So I need a fresh start ASAP! 😉

You guys really inspire me to try harder & I really need that.  As an emotional eater, I have to really track what/how much I eat between meals or end up doing like I did in this last challenge & going nowhere!  I have participated in a few of the workday hustles & feel like I've achieved something if I can stay in the middle of the pack - I know I won't reach the high end since I work a desk job and have too many priorities with home/family to do much after hours, but I do enjoy the challenge of trying to at least hitting the middle ground!  Feel free to add me as a friend or invite me to a challenge - I may not be much of a challenge, but do enjoy the motivation to move more.

Goal weight for this challenge:  185

Lose the fat....get to 170 then add muscle to be back between 175 and 180 with healthy lean muscle
