Thats great ... I just walked briskly on the treadmill for 40 minutes ... have almost 7000 steps in today and its not even noon time yet 🙂

My starting weight was 239. I've yo-yo dieted for a year, I'd gain weight, lose weight, gain it again, try to lose it again. Its a lifetime battle that's for sure but I'm not giving up. I currently weigh 204 with a goal weight of 150.

Ah popcorn, how I love thee. Even air popped popcorn has a lot of calories, who eat just 1 cup of popcorn? I had the same extra 300 calories (or more!) from popcorn last week. I just try and not make it now because I know truthfully I will eat a whole bag. I should try those 100 calorie bagsWoman Very Happy

Ultimate goal weight:  165, then see how I feel about going lower to 150-160.  

 

My first week (Jan 4 - 10) I gained four pounds, which dropped off suddenly as of this past Tuesday.  Mid-cycle water fluctuations, I guess?  Who knows.  In any case, my weight has technically dropped by 7.5lbs since last Saturday, but I'm going to stick with my original starting weight of 222.5 - which equals a 3.5lb total loss since January 4th.  I hope I don't keep yo-yoing like this!

Hey Chels81! Glad to see you come to this challenge 🙂 So relieved that the water weight came off. You got the right attitude it's more about the bigger picture, some times a gain but mostly loss. See you on your thread too! Can't get enough support.

I'm changing my goal, we have had some news this week which means the next 3-4 weeks are going to be very stressful, so I have decided rather than add extra stress my aim now is to maintain. If I lose then that's great but I'm not adding to a tense few weeks by pushing to lose

Sorry to hear you are going through a rough patch DeafWorm. I hope you still stick around =D Maintaining for a while is actually helpful. I like that you are making a goal for yourself to not gain weight . If it were me I would binge. We are here for you if you need us!

Thanks, Noir, yep I plan to stick around and I hope I will still lose a bit but 5 kg is 10.10lb so a big ask even in a good period! definitely working on not binging but i cant make any promises 😄

well I weighed in this morning and have gained 2lb but that is probably due to a weekend of no exercise and too much comfort eating, being a little more sensible starts this morning!

Good morning!! Sort of new to Fitbit..had mine since the third week in December. have lost a few pounds. Starting weight 143 amd now 140.7. Goal weight 130. Would love to chat with other women late 30's early 40's who are struggling to get those last ten pounds off!!! If anyone has any good healthy recipes to share or excersizes to get rid of some belly pudge!! ( I call it baby weight, but my baby will be 6 this year!!) I am currently working out at a gym 4 to 5 days per week for average of 90 minutes per session. My favorite class in kickboxing and piloxing. I am also starting pilates core (ouch!!!!) hopefully my abs will get stronger. Happy fit-bit-ing to all!!! I really LOVE this thing. Talk about MOTIVATION. My daily goal is to see all 4 lines in the green: steps taken, miles walked, calories burned and very active minutes. Heidi

Welcome Heldlmarle! You have a great attitude and with that you will go far. At 90 minutes a day, I am sure that you get your 10,000 steps. Wow you are so inspirational!

I haven't weighed since Friday so I don't know if I've lost or gained. I like to weigh once a week that way I won't get discouraged. I used to weigh every day but its so disappointing when I work so hard and don't lose. I'll continue to work as hard as I can and hopefully see good results by the end of the week 🙂
