How do you reduce visceral fat?

There are lots of threads on these forums with this same question... The truth is, you really can't target fat loss.  Your body will take fat from everywhere until a certain area gets low enough (fat %).   The crunches and other ab work will help tone your muscles, but won't make the fat there disappear any faster other than just by burning calories.  All the weight loss neoprene belts that are advertised only help you sweat there... that "water weight" will come right back.

It all comes down to one immutable rule... calories out (burned) - calories in (eaten/drank)... if you burn more than you take in, you lose weight... if you burn less, you gain weight.

Reducing your sugar intake will help reduce your overall fat. Resent studies have shown that increased blood sugar levels stop your bodies ability to burn fat.

There appears to be one simple, effective answer......eat less calories than your body consumes.  There are no magic solutions to the issue.  Eat less, move more.

Sugar is a major culprit. Sugar is in everything the is packaged. There are so many different names for sugar on packaging that it will make your head spin round and round. There are at least 61 different names for sugar listed on food labels. These include common names, such as sucrose and high-fructose corn syrup, as well as barley malt, dextrose, maltose and rice syrup, among others.
