ANSWERED

Does only “straight” water count as “water”?  Or does coffee, tea, diet soda/zero calorie drinks also count towards/as water when logging water on app?

I count water, herbal tea, and sparkling water as water.

I don't count coffee, diet soda, juice etc.

It's up to you.

It’s really up to you to decide. Whichever way you end up counting, you just have to realize that – while being properly hydrated is important – water intake won’t have a make-or-break effect on your weight loss.

I personally wouldnt count coffee or any caffeined pop/drink as caffeine is a diaretic and could help lead to dehydration if you are not drinking enough other water.
