Did you mean:

Weekly report came today and I'm confused?

Report: 12/29 through 01/04

23,103 Calories Burned

15,806 Calories Eaten

-5,250 Plan Deficit

Calories in vs out = - 2,047

Weight Change = .3 lbs

How am I to read this? Is my total deficit only 2,047? Or, is it 2,047 plus the plan deficit of 5,250? Or, did I totally miss the mark and come up 3,000 cals short of my deficit goal?

Your average every single day for In VS Out is -2047.

=====================

Your Total Burned to Total Eaten's deficit was -5,250 for the whole week's total.

What's odd there is the math is wrong. I have -7297 which is the two numbers totaled.

Joseph, thank you so much. Of course I could never be at that high of a deficit. I went back and one of the days only tracked a few hundred calories for some reason. So one day I was at a deficit of around 2,000. I was worried that I was reading my fitbit all wrong and basically just maintaining my 195 and not trying to get to 185. Thank you.

23,103 Calories Burned - 15,806 Calories Eaten

= Actual Weekly Deficit of (-7297 calories)

Original Weekly Deficit Plan:

-5,250 Plan Deficit

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Conclusion:

The weekly deficit is -7291 calories instead of - 5250 calories.

= daily deficit of about (-1042)  instead of original (-750)

You've burned about 2,047 calories more than you're original deficit plan:

~ 292 calories burned extra average / daily.
