My wife and I use the My Fitness Pal App along with our FitBits. They sync up automatically and the MFP shows calories burned without the BMR added in so they work well. She was on weight watchers for a while and hit a plateau. Once she started using the MFP and Fitbit, she started losing weight again...

Fitbit Flex has motivated me so much. I've lost 27lbs so far. I have 56lbs more to go and I WILL succeed.

I got my FitBit One as a gift in November of 2012. By November of 2013 I had lost 180 lbs. I tracked my food in MyFitnessPal and my activity on FitBit. It seemed so easy once I got going. Since November of 2013 I have been maintaining at 118 lbs. at 5'4. I love my FitBit so much I've actually had 5 of them since I'm terrible at laundry. FitBits hate to be laundered!

You lose quickly if you're way overweight and quit your habits. I lost 80 in four months one time and shredded 15% body fat after quitting alcohol and non-dietary foods like bacon cheeseburgers. That was before I joined FitBit which is motivating me now to burn 3400 calories a day.
Only trouble is holding your motivation to lose even more body fat and aim for the 8%. Plus staying away from foods you don't need even though they're begging me to eat more to aim for -1000 deficit. I'm always hitting -2000 without the bad foods.

I started using the Fitbit Flex the first week of March this year and I've lost 20#'s so far, with 100 more to go. Last Christmas was the heaviest I've ever been and I knew I had to do something. The first of the year I started cutting back and eating healthier then I got the Fitbit and really started tracking calories in and calories burned.
Last month I joined Curves for Women and started doing their 30 minute circuit 3-4 times a week. I had hit a bit of a plateu and the extra physical activity helped because I started seeing a few pounds a week less on my scale.
The older I get the harder it is to manage my weight and I've had weight issues most of my life. There was only a few years when I was about 30 yrs old, that I was really satisfied with my size and health. I've had four children and now that I'm 57 my metabolism just doesn't function the same as it did when I was younger.
Wearing the Fitbit helps remind me to be "mindful" of what I am eating, how much and that I need to be physically active to be healthy. It helps me track calories, carbs, activities and I love that it updates automatically and will "buzz" when I've hit a daily goal! I love my Fitbit and have told lots of others about it too.

I've lost 10lb in my first week! but I have a lot more to go. Fitbit is fantastic! I can finaly see my weightloss as a logical, mathematical problem. Being a technician, this is a wonderful thing.

I have a very active job, I walked 25k steps on tuesday (my friday, the only workday I've had my fitbit so far), so apparently that burns a lot of calories. I'm actualy trying to up my caloric intake, after I cut out junk food I wasn't getting enough and i was constantly fatigued. It is surpringly difficult.
I had not heard of personaltrainerfood, but after a quick googling I may check it out. I seem to always lose a lot of weight right away when I start a new deit/excersize routine, probably because I have so much to lose! hopefully it will slow down to my desired 2lb/week before too long (and not platue anytime soon!)

I don't know exactly how much I've lost, because I didn't start weighing myself until 3 weeks in. In the 2 3/4 months since then I've lost 37lbs. The real number is probably 42-45lbs.
