Weight Watchers and new to fitbit

ANSWERED

Hey everyone. Just wondering anyone could help with a few questions, Id really apprecitate it! Ok well my boyfriend got me fitbit flex for xmas to help spur me on to lose weight, so far I love it and I have been tracking eveything on my fitbit. now today I have actually joined up to weightwatchers and gone to my first meeting tonight. My leader has a fitbit and said I can sync it to my weight watchers account. So I have just done that and it says it is going to give me activity points depending on how much I walk ect. So shall I just track my food with weight watchers now ? I also own a horse so I was wondering, when I ride her do i keep my fitbit on or just track the exercice on my fitbit app OR my weight watchers , Im very confused lol! If anyone could help id be very greatful, also If anhyone wants to add me as a friend Id love that ! thanks Woman LOL

Hi...I am also on WW. I would say that tracking on the WW site is good, because that is where your activity points will show up. They won't be visible on your Fitbit. If you are using eTools, it would replace what you are tracking using the Fitbit site. So, all of your points, added and subtracted, will all show there.

Good luck. I was so happy when WW decided to sync with Fitbit. Having my band really reminds me to move. There are activity groups comprised of WW members of you look in the Activity Groups section.

Very good questions, I hope you get an answer. I synced with WW and my acitivity is transferred over, usually with a bit of delay. I don't think food tracked here transfers over so I would just continue to track food on WW  but not really sure.

How do I sync my FB to my WW account?

You do it from your weight watchers account. Go to your activity tracker, then to settings, and there is an option there to "connect devices and apps".

Ella- have you noticed that when you ride the fitbit counts the horses steps? (funny!) And since you are seemingly walking very fast, it counts the time as high activity!

I would use the Weight Watchers etools and use that to log in your foods based on your points. I also just got the fitbit and synced them (I had to go to the WW site and then choose "fitbit' and when they ask for you email make sure you use the email used for Fitbit and not WW). I am hoping that my weight and activity points will automatically be recorded. I love WW etools for everything and coupled with Fitbit for activity (that is supposed to be recorded as activity points in etools)- we have the perfect program.

Go to the WW watchers etools and then under SEARCH put in Fitbit. Choose Fitbit when it prompts you to Synch and then in the address bar put in the Fitbit address and then make sure your bluetooth is on.

I've recently done this, and I find what comes from my fitbit for activity points, versus a manual add on the WW tracker there is a huge difference. Anyone else notice major differences?
