Hi @blakez
The best diet is no diet. Dieting restricts foods, can lead to binge eating and eating the same as before.
When loosing weight our bodies require less and less calories to maintain a new weight so it's not possible to eat as much as before.
Change food habits gradually, so your body can adjust to the new eating habits and every day becoming easier that the new habits take over from old habits.
Try eating foods provided by nature mostly as minimal as processed, these contain less calories overall, giving our bodies all nutrition it needs, possibly not needing more/feeling satisfied quicker and longer.
Cookies.. are higher in calories.. possible to keep on eating those and yet being hungry even when eaten the calorie limit for the day cause our bodies needing more nutrition which it can get best from the foods the nature provides (fruits, vegetables, eggs, fish, meat, potatoes,..)..
It's okay to have a little treat once in a while like a piece of cake.. to prevent binging if the thoughts are strong to have some are there and not going away.. to satisfy the craving.
Discover which foods satisfy your body the most and which foods can still leave hungry even after eaten plenty from..
Have fun
