Hi, I've read some of the existing threads on this including stickied threads but not entirely sure where I'm going wrong. My weight-loss has slowed right down to the point where I've lost about 2lbs in the last month.
As a background I'm a 6Ft1 male and was originally 17st4lb when i started losing weight at the end of April. I've currently got down to 15st but have a target of 13st7lb. To date I've been doing a 1000kcal deficit each day, swapping loads of crap I was eating for fruit, veg, salads, Nakd bars (snacking was an issue for me). I've also swapped all fizzy drinks for bottled water (3 or 4L a day). I'm at the point now where my mindset on food has changed and I don't see this as limiting myself anymore.
I'm also pretty active. I exceed 10k steps regularly, play football once a week and am on week 7 of a C25K programme. All while chasing 3 young kids round.
Generally I'd say i eat between 100 & 200 kcal below my target deficit, which i wouldnt have thought have much impact. I haven't changed anything from what I was doing initially but I just seem to have hit a wall. Nothing is particularly changing aesthetically either so its not like I can see results there instead.
Can anyone suggest anything to get going again?

OK, so if I got it right, your starting weight at end of April was 242 lbs (BMI 31.9), after two months (end of June), it was 212 lbs, after three months (now), it was 210 (BMI 27.7) and your goal is to be 189 lbs (BMI 24.9). You may have thought that since you were able to lose 30 lbs during the first two months, surely you should be able to lose the remaining 23 lbs in the same time or so. Unfortunately, things doesn’t work that way: if you try to lose too much weight and/or for too long, your metabolism will be reduced so as to fight about the disruption you created. The solution is to switch to maintenance, in order to let your body get used to your new, lower weight and allow you to rebuild your metabolism. After a few months, you will be in a much better place to start again and go for the next 25 lbs.
