I'm noticing that my dashboard shows me the % of calories that come from carbs, protein, and fats. What is considered "healthy" or "correct"? Should more come from protein than anything else?
Looking for a little guidance here. Thanks!

this is going to vary for everyone. the trick is to find what works for you.
for me, 70/20-25/5-10 (fat/protein/carbs) works. for others, it may not.

General guidelines for someone in a diet to help retain muscle mass.
A reasonable deficit and actually doing resistance training is needed too, but enough protein is part of it too.
Protein at 0.82 grams per lb of body weight. If you have no liver problems more isn't a problem, just no extra benefit.
Fat at 0.35 grams per lb of body weight.
Carbs for whatever is left.
The % that causes the above to happen totally depends on how much you get to eat. If you are eating much, may be 40/30/30 for C/P/F. If getting decent amount, may be 55, 25, 20.
Whatever the grams work out to.

Thank you! I think I'm eating too many carbs, but the numbers definitely help. I know to be successful I can't cut them out completely; it would be setting myself up for failure.
